Sangam Giri is an Indian Anant Vibhooshit Guru, a spiritual leader. He is referred to as Mahamandaleshwar (honorific), Baba ji, or Gurudev ji. From around the mid 2013s, he worked as an apprentice under Sidhhapith Baba Jahar Giri Ashram, Bhiwani (Haryana) the founder of Shri Shri 1008 Paramhans Sidhha Baba Shri Jahar Giri Ji Maharaj. In 1950, he founded the Sidhhapith Baba Shankar Giri Foundation (Haryana).
Sangam Giri was born in District-Bhiwani, Haryana, to Raj Bala and Ashok Giri. He is the brother of Guru bhai Kamakhya Giri, Bhiwani (Haryana). He was named "Sangam" (an Indian name which means "Sanyog") because his birth was on a Sunday, whose birthday on the same day as First Day of the Year Starting. Sangam Giri's first teacher was his Father and Mother itself Ashok Giri and Shrimati Raj Bala. After apprentice, he travelled with his second teacher, Shri Mahant Dr Ashok Giri ji Maharaj, giving talks and arranging conferences on Vedic science and spiritual camp setting up Meditation and Ayurveda centers.
In the 2018s, he initiated a series of practical and experiential camp in spirituality around the globe. He says that his havan & pujan practice, Shiva Stutra, came to him in 2016, "like a Faith, an inspiration". "I learned it and started teaching it".
In 2014, he visited Bangalore on a spiritual mission with a team of 150 Mahatma Naga Sanyashi. The event, inaugurated by Karnataka's Chief Minister, involved conducting havan and pujan by the blessings of Lord Shiva to invoke rain, as Karnataka experienced no rainfall that year, addressing the region's severe drought conditions.
During his visits to Dubai in 2019 and 2020, invited by important delegates, he met with political and religious leaders to promote global peace. These meetings aimed to foster mutual understanding and cooperation, highlighting the significance of unity and harmony in addressing global challenges and conflicts.
In 2018, 2019, and 2022, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Sangam Giri Ji Maharaj met Russian government delegations in Havana, urging non-violence for political and social justice. For his efforts, he was awarded the Best Spiritual Leader Award by Russian representatives in 2019, recognizing his contributions to conflict resolution and peace.
According to Mahamandaleshwar Swami Sangam Giri Ji Maharaj, 90% of Kashmiris are happy with the deletion of Rule 370. He notes improvements in entrepreneurship, skill development, cultural exchange, education, and women's empowerment. During his visit, he also visited the historic Shankaracharya Temple, highlighting the region's positive transformation and growth.
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Sangam Giri Ji Maharaj visited Ayodhya in 2017 and again in February 2024 to conduct spiritual camps focused on havan and pujan. These visits aimed to promote spiritual well-being and strengthen the community's faith through sacred rituals and prayers.
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Sangam Giri Ji Maharaj has visited Kailash Mansarovar numerous times to conduct spiritual camps featuring havan and pujan. These pilgrimages aim to enhance spiritual well-being and connect devotees with the divine, reinforcing the significance of sacred rituals in fostering inner peace and devotion.
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Sangam Giri Ji Maharaj visited Ladakh on May 5, 2024, to conduct spiritual camps featuring havan and pujan. These camps aimed to enhance spiritual well-being and connect the local community with the divine through sacred rituals and prayers.
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Sangam Giri Ji Maharaj conducted the Yagya of 108 Kundiya, performing havan and pujan ceremonies as part of the spiritual rituals.
